분사구문은 주절의 주어와 종속절의 주어가 같은 상황에서만 만들 수 있다. 주절과 종속절의 주어가 같지 않은 상황에서 만든 분사구문은 문법적인 오류가 있다고 보고 이를 dangling problem이라고 한다.
여기서 presenting의 주체는 lawyer인데 주절의 주어는 only one point 이다. 수동태인 문장을 능동태로 바꾸어 lawyer를 주어로 만들어 주면 dangling problem 이 해결된다.
E 번 역시 the lawyer가 주어이지만 가정법 과거 완료를 써서 과거의 내용을 후회하고 있다. 원래 문장의 의미를 왜곡함으로 답이 될 수 없다.
